I know I'm late on this subject...

but lately i've been thinking a lot about our economic standing and how crazy it has become. More then 12,000 people lost their job on that one day alone, which was Wednesday September 17 if I am not mistaken. It's sad to realize how bad our country is going to look in the future. First there is the global warming problem and now this. In high school I watched a movie called "Soylent Green" and once I saw it I knew that was how our future is going to look and now that all of this is happening it looks like it's going to happen even sooner. The movie shows you how everyone was basically poor living in churches or out in the streets. There was rarely any food, but the soylent. Which was made out of something special, but i'll just let you watch the movie and find out.

It's also sad to see how there are companies taking advantage of this economic problem we are having. There are international companies that don't have to deal with the problem in this country because it doesn't hurt their pocket at all especially these European countries, but they are still firing people left and right just because it saves them more money. So they could give themselves there six million dollar bonuses every year. While everyone else is struggling trying to find jobs. There are so many college graduates that have not been able to even step their foot inside the corporate world because no one is hiring. Now imagine all these people that just got fired recently combine all those numbers and see how far we will go with the job hunting. Then there is the cost of living, because gas prices went up everything else has gone up. It's rediculous how much a gallon of milk is now. It's funny because the barrell of oil has gone down, but the prices on the gas pump don't reflect that at all. The barrell has gone down to how much it was when we used to pump our gas at two dollars, but it is still almost four dollars a gallon at the gas stations. That makes no sense in my opinion.
